Governor Akinwunmi Ambode dumps APC for PDP

An IG user today welcomed the Governor of Lagos state, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to the People's Democratic Party popularly known as PDP.

We are yet to confirm how authentic the news is, but if true it comes as no surprise, as recently there has been a clash between the Governor and Former Governor and Lagos state Godfather Tinubu who is also a member of the APC party, this may have left to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode dumping APC for PDP.

APC youths burn down police station in Akwa Ibom

Angry APC youths have burnt down the Divisional Police Station in Okobo Local Government Area (LGA) of Akwa Ibom State, while they protested the alleged imposition of candidate and hijacking of materials by the party officials in connivance with security agents. The youths were angry over the alleged attempts by former senate minority leader and former governor of the state, Godswill Akpabio, to substitute the name of the winner of the federal constituency primaries with his preferred nominee, Victor Antai who was a former Commissioner of Culture in the state.
