Nigerian Singer "Djinee" involved in accident

Nigerian singer, Djinee has been hospitalised after surviving a ghastly car crash in Lekki, Lagos.

According to filmmaker, Abinibi James who shared the news, 'my friend Djinee was involved in a ghastly accident Monday morning around 1am somewhere in Lekki. It's a miracle he survived'.

He went on to say, 'Djinee is currently receiving treatment and recovering accordingly. Please keep him in your prayers. His phones lines are not available at the moment but you can reach me if it's important'.

APC youths burn down police station in Akwa Ibom

Angry APC youths have burnt down the Divisional Police Station in Okobo Local Government Area (LGA) of Akwa Ibom State, while they protested the alleged imposition of candidate and hijacking of materials by the party officials in connivance with security agents. Cameroon legend Samuel Eto'o donates to former captain Norbert Owona

Cameroonian legend, Samuel Eto’o has reportedly donated funds to the former captain of the Indomitable Lions, Norbert Owona who has been homeless and sick. According to several reports, Owona became very broke, sick and homeless after he lost his family in an accident. He appealed to the government of Cameroon for help but his request was not granted. But thanks to Samuel Eto'o who has come to the aid of the poverty-stricken former captain. He paid him a visit during his recent trip to Cameroon and donated the sum of 500,000FCFA. It was also reported that the UEFA Champions League winner also promised to give him a brand new house. Owona played several years for the Cameroonian national team and represented the Indomitable Lions in two Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments.
