A Nigerian woman has revealed she didn’t kneel for husband during their Yoruba traditional wedding.

The Canada-based Feminist, identified as Eniola revealed that she didn’t kneel for her husband, during her traditional wedding, as is common practice.

Taking to her twitter account: @Eniolahu, she wrote;

“Speaking of submission, during my Yoruba engagement, my husband and I told the Alagas to not use that word or ask me to kneel for him. Everyone told me it wouldn’t be possible because, culture. But guess whose knees didn’t touch the ground?”
“My sister’s wedding was earlier this week and she also warned against using the term “ile oko” (husband’s house). Everyone is setting their house rules and removing the bs one act at a time. Looking forward to subversive “no wedding” family members lol”

Cameroon legend Samuel Eto'o donates to former captain Norbert Owona

Cameroonian legend,  Samuel Eto’o  has reportedly donated funds to the former captain of the Indomitable Lions,  Norbert Owona  who has been homeless and sick. According to several reports, Owona became very broke, sick and homeless after he lost his family in an accident. He appealed to the government of Cameroon for help but his request was not granted. But thanks to Samuel Eto'o who has come to the aid of the poverty-stricken former captain. He paid him a visit during his recent trip to Cameroon and donated the sum of 500,000FCFA. It was also reported that the UEFA Champions League winner also promised to give him a brand new house. Owona played several years for the Cameroonian national team and represented the Indomitable Lions in two Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments.
