Homosexual arrested after attempting to rape man

The Bauchi State Police Command on Wednesday, paraded a suspected homosexual alongside other suspects arrested for various offences. 

 

 

Briefing newsmen at the Headquarters, the Spokesperson for the Command, DSP Kamal Abubakar, said the 35-year-old homosexual, Ismail Yusuf jumped into a man's house and attempted to rape him. The incident happened on Monday. 

 

"On 13/08/2018 at about 0100hrs, following a credible information, operatives attached to State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) of the Command arrested one Ismail Yusuf aka chair “m” 35ys of Rariya Quarters Bauchi, the suspect jumped in to the residence of one Haruna Banki of Rariya Quarters at about 0100hrs with intent to commit un-natural offence (Homosexual) on receipt of information the operatives swung in to action and arrested the suspect.

The suspect voluntarily confessed to the crime that has been in the act for very long time." the PRO said. 

 

 

 

In another development,  the Command smashed a den of criminal syndicate that specialized in robbing motorcycles within Bauchi metropolis.

 

The suspects were arrested by operatives attached to State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) of the Command following intelligence report. The suspects are:

 

i. Ahmad Abdullahi aka Gutti “m” age 21yrs of M&J Railway Street Bauchi 

ii. Al-amin Hussaini aka Danwasa “m” 19yrs of Makama Quarters Bauchi 

iii. Ahmed Mohammed aka Baba Ahmed “m” 19yrs Makama Quarters Bauchi 

iv. Ahmad Nurudeen “m” of Wuntin Dada Bauchi 21yrs

v. Abdul Abubakar “m” of railway Bauchi 27yrs 

vi. Ibrahim Mohammed “m” of Railway Bauchi 27yrs

ii. One (1) Hoajou Motocycle 

iii. One (1) Black Tecno D1 cell phone  

iv. One (1) locally made Pistol

ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS

 

Following a complaint received on 28/07/2018 from one Ahmad Hassan Abdussalam of No. 1, One Thousand Housing Units Estate Bauchi that on the same day at about 0130hrs unknown armed men stormed his residence and robbed him of some valuables items thereafter fled to unknown destination. After a discreet investigation by the operatives attached to State Intelligence Bureau (SIB), the following suspects were arrested in connection with the case:

 

i. Abubakar Abdullahi “m”  22yrs of Unguwar Kur Railway Bauchi.

ii. Ibrahim Abubakar aka Abbas Duduwa “m” 23yrs of Railway Bauchi 

iii. Ibrahim Mohammad aka Ginja “m” 22yrs of wayan makafi.

iv. Auwal Musa aka Kome “m” 34yrs of kofar Gombe Bauchi

 

The suspects confessed to the crime and equally confessed that they specialized in house breaking and stealing and have been terrorizing people of that area.

BEING IN POSSESSION OF ROBBED PROPERTIES

 

On 9/08/2018 at about 1230hrs based on a tip-off operatives attached to State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) arrested the following suspects in possession of robbed items. 

i. Sani Aliyu aka Sani Dada “m” of Anguwan Dim 

ii. Kamaludeen Adamu “m” 23yrs of Unguwar Kur Bauchi

3. One(1) red boxer motorcycle

4. One (1) Samsung Galaxy tablet  (Tab E) 

 

4. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS, CULPABLE HOMICIDE CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY AND CAUSING GRIEVOUS HURT

 

You may recall that on 16/12/2017 the following suspects: 

 

1. Oyeka David “m” aka Swag 32yrs

2. Oyeka Okeke “m” 34yrs 

3. Grace Otapa 24yrs 

4. Happy Henry”m” 32yrs, were arrested and charged to court in connection with armed robbery and killing of one Usman Suleiman a manager of KAMS UNIVERSAL CONCEPT LTD. Filling Station along Jos Road, Bauchi while other members of the gang were at large.

However in continuation with the investigation, the Command’s operatives attached to Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad arrested the following suspects in connection with case who were at large.

 

i. Julius Haruna aka Don Jazzy “m” 32yrs of Kongo Rosha Plateau State.

ii. Babangida Abdulazeez aka Rati “m” of Igbo Quarters Bauchi

 

 

 

All cases mentioned above are under investigation and will soon be charged to court for prosecution.

 

Finally, members of the public who have lost their motorcycles to robbers and thieves are advised to come forward with valid documents and check among the recovered ones.
