APC youths burn down police station in Akwa Ibom

Angry APC youths have burnt down the Divisional Police Station in Okobo Local Government Area (LGA) of Akwa Ibom State, while they protested the alleged imposition of candidate and hijacking of materials by the party officials in connivance with security agents. The youths were angry over the alleged attempts by former senate minority leader and former governor of the state, Godswill Akpabio, to substitute the name of the winner of the federal constituency primaries with his preferred nominee, Victor Antai who was a former Commissioner of Culture in the state.    A philanthropist, Robinson Ebumoh, who reportedly won the primaries of the APC had his name missing on the list allegedly approved by the state chapter of the party, which carried the name of former  state Commissioner for Culture, Victor Antai, the preferred candidate of Akpabio.   Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, has said that the 2019 presidential election will not be a contest between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and President Buhari, but "a straight fight between the president and Nigerians who are tired of his misrule."   Some women like their engagement ring with a huge rock while others don't mind, as long as they get one from the man they love. One woman has decided to humiliate her fiancĂ© online after he got her a 'too small' diamond  solitaire in white gold ring. She took to MumsNet to rant about the $1,674 ring, stating that she was dissapointed as it was small and she hated the color .
